Project description
The main objective of my project is to define a computational model for preserving contemporary multimedia art installations. This will be done by investigating methods and strategies to preserve the single components involved in their creation (especially time-based media, such as analog audio and video documents, film and digital formats), as well as the interactive experience between the subject and the artwork. The project is not only aimed for preservation but also documentation and data gathering, in order to facilitate future re-activations and re-exhibitions of the artworks.
