Aim
This course examine the bases of research in the field metabolism (included nutrition) and exercise physiology (included extreme environments physiology) investigating  technological innovations (wearables devices, etc.) that allow us to monitor different parameters.

Syllabus
- Describing the variables investigated in human physiology (extreme environments) and metabolism (nutrition studies)
- Analyzing the instruments used in human physiology and metabolism
- Describing the methodological approach to research in physiology and metabolism
- Listing common methodological problems
- Discussing the future opportunities to develop new technological devices (wearables) and/or data analysis techniques
- Discussing the use of Augmented Reality in the field of nutrition
