Thursday 26th May, the final stage of the the prize "Innovation in Psychology 2016" by Ordine Psicologi Veneto took place at the Botanical Garden of the University of Padua.Merylin Monaro, PhD student in Brain, Mind and Computer Science at HIT Centre, won the first prize for the category "Innovative fields of application in Psychology", presenting the project "Verfication of self-declared identities authenticity through the kinematic analysis of cognitive processes involved in deception".All the finalists for the 4 competition categories (health psychology, clinical psychology, work psychology and innovative fields of application in psychology) had the opportunity to expose theirprojects to a wide audience of psychologists, entrepreneurs and local authorities.
